Get to know me

I think she's what we're looking for but we want to understand a bit more about her vibe -
& that's exactly what this is bit is for.

Hiyaa.
I'm Christina Rotondo - singer, alternative music lover, session vocalist, parent to two long-haired sausage dogs (Theo & Thunder) and all round creative. Where do I even start? I've been singing at weddings for about 8 years, and I only really started doing weddings on my own in January 2025.
I'm a session vocalist also - which basically means that people look for a singer to hire (usually remotely) and then they hire singers like me to record vocals for their tracks, and I feel like thats given me a world of experience, because its kept me singing consistently, and it's kept my vocals diverse and helped me to build my skillset. I feel like I've always been quite varied with my vocals anyway - I sing a lot of EDM, Pop and Hardstyle, but I also love singing ballads, and of course Alternative, Rock and Metalcore which is where it all started.
I started posting on my YouTube channel in my uni days (which is where the alternative weddings started from after supporters started asking if I could sing for their weddings) and I originally took heavy songs like artists from The Amity Affliction, While She Sleeps, Architects, Underoath and more, and created alternative, acoustic and orchestral interpretations.
I worked with different bands, I joined and created different bands, I met amazing musicians on tour and now I focus a lot on session vocals. I've worked with some amazing people and amazing brands. Fun fact, if you're a Doctor Who fan, I am the singer of Janis Goblin, and i'm also in The Interstellar Song Contest Episode, in a full 4 hours worth of prosthetics at 4am.

My general rule of thumb for weddings is that you should have what you want. Its your wedding. If you want to headbang to Bilmuri, you have that. And if I hear even a whiff of The Taste of Ink being played, I will simply have to sing along with you.
I love singing at weddings, and I genuinely enjoy part of the planning process with you and making it everything you want it to be through your music, and if theres other ways I can help with that, you can rope me into that too. (Very type A over here.) I like to think that with me you have the best of both worlds, because I love a soft, whispery falsetto but i'll be damned if i'm not going to belt out that bridge in The Only Exception (when the time is right.. of course.)
I do love to have a chat with my wedding people on the phone, just so you can get a feeling for what i'm like - it's really important that you're comfortable, i'm comfortable, we're all happy with the vibes, but also if a phone call makes you feel quite uncomfortable, thats absolutely okay too, and theres an option for an email rather than a phone call on my enquiry form.
If you have anything else you want to share or ask, drop it in the enquiry, i'll give you a likely scarily fast response time because I'm always checking my emails or am doing something on my phone, and we can chat further!
